The Michelin Guide's review
A legendary Japanese restaurant in the city that has for a long time been a favourite address for aficionados of the country’s cuisine. It’s no surprise that the Nagayama group does not just have a single restaurant – in fact, in this area they own almost an entire block that includes the Bar do Naga, the Café do Naga etc. It is split between two floors, with access to the floor above via an attractive steep staircase. In the latter you’ll find two rooms: a waiting area with just a few tables, and a second more spacious room with a direct view of the pleasantly and subtly illuminated sushi bar. The extensive menu features a wide array of carpaccios, sushi, sashimi, uramaki, temaki, tartares and teppanyaki, and if there are several of you, you may want to try combination options such as the popular Naga Case 2 or the enticing Omakase-style tasting menu.
