Headed up by former TV chef Charan Thipeung, this restaurant – whose name means ‘happy home’ – has been serving authentic Northern Thai food since 2011. Set in a Lanna house with a tree-lined garden, it’s a popular, wallet-friendly destination that offers hard-to-find traditional dishes alongside classic favourites. The uniquely flavoured spicy minced fish salad is highly recommended and if you’re unfamiliar with the cuisine, start with the excellent Northern appetiser sampler.
