The Michelin Guide's review
The former cowshed of the beautifully renovated historical Immenhof estate houses this charming alternative to the Rodesand restaurant. The cuisine, made with top-quality, fresh produce, is traditional, regional and seasonal. Holstein-style sour meat is one of the classics on the menu. The 48hr-braised beef cheek and baked pike dumplings are also sure to whet the appetite. Vegetarian options are available too. The food is complemented by friendly service and a cosy, rustic atmosphere – the open fireplace is a nice touch. In summer, make a beeline for the terrace, which overlooks the lake. Good news: The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner! Coffee and cake are served in the afternoon. Pick up some home-made jam, souvenirs etc at the farm shop.
