The half dozen Dilwara Temples were built between the 11C and 15C. Two of them, Luna Vasahi and Vimal Vasahi, boast particularly abundant and delicate interior decoration, intricately carved stone. It was carved in white marble because the Jain community was so wealthy that it was able to buy and transport the marble blocks, but also maintain hundreds of sculptors and even ivory makers for years.
